Harry Gilson: Golden Teacher

I want today's story to be ultra lightweight. I was thinking about doing the lifecycle of a Christmas tree. I mentioned it yesterday but not in this form.

Works alright, I suppose.

I had an idea last night to do one full story per day, as I have done above. Keeping it simple and somewhat straightforward. Beginning, middle, and end style. Then a long comic that I add a frame to each day, without thinking of the next day. So essentially, one straightforward full comic (all panels) per day. And one panel for a more complex story (part of a bigger story).

So I'm going to go with the tree story, for the basic story. Now I need a premise for the complex story. Not sure, perhaps it would be best not to think too much about it. Figure it out on the fly, so to speak. Not necessarily for the end result, but to make the process actually enjoyable. The end result will come with time. Usually I find the works that I enjoy the most are the ones that I enjoyed making the most. Perhaps my opinion is skewed by preassigned memories of the process related to the piece.

I've created an animation loop of a golden teacher mushroom growing from pin to full fruit. I quite like it, uploaeding now.
